Live from New York...

Hello everyone!

I'm writing this blog from my cozy seat at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. At this moment, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees are conducting their sound checks and I must say the drums are rocking the house (the more traditional Waldorf guests in the lobby looked up with curious eyes when the pounding started). I would be surprised if that wasn't our own Mr. Mullen, Jr. at the helm, as Dallas Schoo just walked past me in a fierce hurry to the ballroom.

Only a few hours remain until the boys begin their exciting night. Stay tuned - I'll be back around 5:30 p.m. EST with an audio blog live from the red carpet.

(that was removed because of unsightly typo)

This reminds me of "Almost Famous" when the girls say, "It's all happennnning!"

Awesome, Miss T.

Hmmmm. T said an audio post at 5:30 ET, but it's closer now to 5:30 PT. I think probably Larry saw her on the red carpet and the rest is history. We may not hear from Tassoula again. :-)

I suspect Tassoula probably saw Larry and passed out! Someone better locate some smelling salts...

Tee-hee, tee-hee.

I'm pleased to report I was the perfect example of 'professional, chic reporter' at the event. It was just BEYOND noisy on the red carpet, and every time I tried to audiopost it sounded like I had a jet plane in the background. I figured I should just wait until this morning, and transcribe it to print.

But the Larry story would've been much more glamorous.
